I know how hard chemistry can be. Not only did I struggle as a new professor, I also have watched students struggle with new concepts for years. This is why I want to help.
My story
Every great journey begins with a story. Mine is no different. I started teaching general chemistry in 2012 at a small undergraduate institution. My first-year teaching was so hard. I spent every waking moment stressing and trying to learn the concepts I didn’t know. I thought I had to have all of the answers and I couldn’t make mistakes. I wanted to be perfect for the students. I also wanted to help the students, but I was barely figuring out things myself! What started as a humble beginning has since grown into a very solid general chemistry knowledge. I have taught for 12 years and I am confident to provide support to students and other instructors.
